Our Story

When parents Natasha and Daniel Dumais had trouble finding nursery furniture to suit their modern taste, they decided to create their own.

And so… ubabub was born.

Ubabub (pronounced über-bub) is a range of Australian designed premium-end nursery and childrens’ products available throughout Australia, New Zealand and now in the United States.

Über stylish and practical, ubabub is a range of ultra-safe, durable and ecologically friendly cribs, furniture and accessories. With a distinctly modern aesthetic, the carefully designed and constructed pieces not only add a streamlined modern edge to the nursery but also bring extra comfort and freedom to parents and babies.

A bit about family life.

That’s Natasha, Daniel and her three adorable girls - Bianca, Sabine and Uma - in the photo above. Their life in Melbourne is filled with love, laughs and LOADS of chaos. Mind you, they wouldn’t have it any other way. In addition to raising their family, Natasha and Daniel stay busy designing thoughtful ubabub products. Enjoy!

At ubabub, safety is our number one priority. All of our products exceed ASTM International and US CPSC safety standards to provide parents with peace-of-mind that they have invested in a nursery piece that offers optimum safety, practicality and freedom for their baby.

Eco friendly.

Ubabub products have been made using solid materials and quality construction, to ensure longevity. The cribs have been designed to grow with your child, converting into their first bed, extending the product's useful life.

The Pod in particular, has been carefully designed to use a mix of materials that could in some part be recyclable. A large portion of this crib can, through correct recycling, continue on in the form of other products. The metal legs, the white plastic base and the clear acrylic sides are all made from recyclable materials, thus reducing the final burden on landfill.
